Extrusion Technology
Match screw geometry, fat level of the feed, die flow, and downstream drying or frying to the recipe — not to a generic machine name.

Full-fat soya meal, defatted soya flour, corn or millet grits, and pasta doughs are different feeds. SnackTech publishes separate full-fat and low-fat soya extruders for this reason. Selecting on price without the fat specification produces the wrong texture.
Expansion, strand diameter, and cutting define puffs, collets, chunks, granules, or pasta shapes. Confirm the finished format first. Changing dies later is common; changing the whole process path is not.
Dryers, fryers, coolers, and seasoning systems determine saleable output and product quality. An extruder quotation without downstream scope is incomplete for a turnkey plant.
Not as a default claim. Recipe family, die set, and downstream process have to match. Multi-product plants are scoped deliberately when formats share a process path.
